Individual Counseling
When life feels like too much.
If you’re constantly anxious, overstimulated, emotionally drained, or stuck in self-doubt- you’re not broken.
Your body has learned to stay alert.
Your mind has learned to overthink.
Your brain is trying to protect you and your nervous system is responding.
Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, trauma, relationship stress, or burnout, individual counseling can help you understand why you react the way you do- and how to change it.
At Relational Resilience Therapy in Colorado, we’ll slow things down. We’ll listen to your body. We’ll get to know the different parts of you that show up in stress; map the long-standing patterns that keep you stuck. And we’ll make small, concrete changes that create real, lasting relief.

What does learning to listen to your body actually feel like?
When you're feeling overwhelmed, on edge, or stuck in survival mode, your brain is doing its best to keep you safe. In our sessions, we won't push you to replay everything that happened. Instead, we take small, gentle steps to help you notice sensations- in or around your body- slowly. At a pace that feels right for you.
How does getting to know my 'parts' help me feel less stuck?
We all have different 'parts' of us, like the anxious part that keeps you replaying the past, the part that's tired of people-pleasing, or the part that wants to zone out when things get hard. They are all there to protect us. But, instead of feeling like 'something is wrong with me,' we get to know these parts through curiosity. This helps you understand why you might be shutting down, so you can lead your life with more clarity, compassion, creativity and confidence.
How soon will I notice changes in my daily life?
Many people notice small shifts early on, maybe you’re having less trouble sleeping, find yourself snapping less at loved ones, or find it a little easier to relax. Our goal isn't a technical fix, but making tiny, doable changes that help you feel more grounded. We focus on what’s working and build your resilience one step at a time.
